CUET Application form 2023 – For the CUET UG 2024 exam, which is anticipated to take place in the second week of February 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is about to release the application form. It is anticipated that more applications will be submitted for CUET UG 2024 than for the previous year. The CUET UG exam attracted an outstanding 16.85 lakh applicants the year before, with Banaras Hindu University and Delhi University receiving the highest numbers.
Registered candidates receive the CUET intimation slip from NTA, which contains important information including the city of the designated exam center, the exam date, time, and paper.

CUET UG Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates are required to have successfully cleared Class 12 from a recognized board, specializing in Science or a pertinent stream. This criterion is essential for admission into the bachelor’s degree programs offered by Central Universities.
- Aspiring candidates who are currently in Class 12 and are yet to undertake their Board exams are also eligible to submit their applications.
- Remarkably, there is no upper age limit stipulated for candidates aspiring to take part in the CUET UG 2024 examination.

How to fill CUET Application Form 2024
The first step is to sign up for the CUET 2024 by going to the exam’s official website. Candidates must click the ‘New Registration’ option to start the registration procedure. Before continuing, they must carefully read the instructions. Choose a password and security question before filling out the registration form with their personal, contact, and address information. They will finish the registration procedure after inputting the security pin. The login and password will be sent to candidates’ registered email addresses and mobile phones through SMS. To complete the CUET UG application form after successfully registering, candidates must submit the following information;

- Date of Birth from the drop-down box

Step 2: Application Process

1. Personal Details: This section fetches information from the registration form and the additional details required were as follows:

2. Education Details: In this section, candidates have to enter their qualifying exam details such as the name of the board/college, passing year, marks obtained, and percentage scored. The fields has to be filled as follows:

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates must choose two examination states and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.
Step 4: Choosing a University or Program: Candidates must select one or more universities and programs from the drop-down menu and then click the Add button to submit an application for each. By selecting the ‘Update’ tab, candidates can modify the universities and programs they have chosen.
Step 5: Choosing a Test Paper or Subject: Candidates must choose between three and ten subjects or papers. Candidates must also choose the language or medium of the question paper in addition to the subject they intend to take. Candidates must choose NA: Not Applicable for the remaining subject categories if they choose fewer than 10 subjects.
Step 6: Insert a photo and a signature: Candidates must now upload their scanned signatures and pictures in accordance with the guidelines. The information about the papers that need to be uploaded is in the table below.

After completing this step, candidates must confirm all of the information they supplied including their email address. Candidates will receive an OTP in their email address, and after entering it, they will be taken to the page where they may pay their CUET 2024 application fee.
Step 7: Paying the Application Fee
The CUET 2024 application fee must be paid online using net banking, a credit card, a debit card, UPI, or a wallet. It should be noted that the form will indicate if an applicant has paid or not paid their application fee.

Candidates then need to choose a payment method—Net Banking, Cards, or UPI—and finish the payment process.
An application confirmation message was shown on the screen following a successful payment, and the message and PDF were also emailed to the candidates’ registered email addresses.
CUET UG 2024 Application Form Mistakes to Avoid
The NTA may reject the CUET application form 2024 for a variety of reasons, candidates must be aware of this. Therefore, teachers warned students to stay away from the following errors;
- Avoid uploading a blurred image of your signature
- Use plain white paper as the background while scanning the images
- Make sure to upload the qualification certificates as demanded
Notice:
Applicants for CUET UG 2024 should take note of the following;
- Candidates can apply to as many universities as they wish.
- Candidates can opt for a maximum of 10 subjects. The application fee would vary according to the number of subjects opted for.
- The application form of a candidate will not be accepted by exam authorities till the CUET test fee was paid successfully.
- An email and SMS are sent to the candidate’s registered email ID and phone number on successful CUET online application form submission and fee payment.
How to Retrieve and Reset CUET Application Password
If a candidate forgets the password for the CUET UG 2024 application, they can regain it by following the steps below;
- Visit the CUET UG 2024 website
- Click on the Login tab
- Click on the Forgot Password
- Enter the Security Question Answer
- The password will be sent to the registered email id

How to Make CUET Application Form 2023 Correction
To make modifications to their CUET 2024 application form, candidates must follow the instructions below;
- Visit cuet.samarth.ac.in
- Click on the ‘Sign In’ tab on the top right side of the page
- Enter your application number, password, and security pin
- Click on the tab indicating application correction
- Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and email address
- Make the necessary changes
- Verify the details before the final submission

After submitting the CUET application form, candidates will not be allowed to alter the following fields;
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Permanent and correspondence address
In case of a change of category, the fee was changed accordingly. The correction was applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any.

CUET Registration Data
Over 16 lakh students registered for the CUET undergrad exam last year, a 41 percent increase from the previous year. A total of 14,90,293 individuals registered for the CUET UG in 2022, of whom 9,68,201 took the exam.
